is due by 11:59pm EDT Friday, June 2nd. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.

Christian Carnival #124 is up at Parableman.

Carnival of the Vanities #193 is up at Catymology. Next week: Punny Money

The next Carnival of the Capitalists posts due by 2pm Saturday. See here for submission address & guidelines.

Conservative Cat's All-Purpose Carnival Submission Page - Bookmark this handy form, and you can enter almost any carnival with just a few clicks. It doesn't get much more convenient than this, folks. It also has a "Carnival News" section featuring links to the most recent Carnival posts. Also please note that Ferdy tracks a LOT more Carnivals than just the ones listed at Alliance HQ.

The Blog Carnival Index currently tracks 329 blog carnivals and offers a submission form. If you can't find a carnival at Conservative Cat, look here (and vice versa).

Conservative Cat's Permanent Floating Ping Festival. Just send a ping to http://www.conservativecat.com/Ferdy/.track.cgi/3, and you will show up on the front page. The only rule is you need to have a link to Conservative Cat somewhere on your front page, but most Alliance members should already have that. Just keep it clean and no more than one per day. The 15 most recent pings are displayed in the right sidebar with an excerpt.

Basil of Basil's Blog wants to send you traffic!
If you trackback to a post in his "Articles of Interest" category (usually titled either "Breakfast", "Brunch", "Lunch", or "Supper"), the trackback from your post will appear in the "Covered Dish Special" section at the bottom of the post. All he asks is that you give a courtesy link back to the post you're trackbacking. See the link for details.

The New Blog Carnival Showcase - a chance for new bloggers (3 months old or newer) to get some free exposure. It's a great way to get your beginner's talent discovered. See this post for details. For blogs that are too old, you should consider checking out the entries, since grateful new bloggers tend to reciprocate post links with permalinks.

Blogosphere Political Compass Project - Sandor of The Zoo is graphing the political positions of all the bloggers who are willing to take a short quiz and send him the results. Details on how you can get a link out of this can be found at the BPCP home page.

New Precision Guided Humor Assignment: Bowling For Michael Moore

A double-amputee Iraq-war vet is suing Michael Moore for $85 million for making him appear anti-war in "Fahrenheit 9/11." by taking his NBC news interview out of context.

Cool.

The only problem is that, if he wins, he'll have a hard time getting paid, since Mikey probably squandered all his earnings on deep-fried Twinkies.

So let's help Moore plan a fundraiser so that justice can be done.

Your Precision Guided Humor Assignment this week is to answer the question:

If Michael Moore loses the $85 million lawsuit, how will he raise funds to pay the judgement?

Post the answer at your own blog and leave a link in the comments to this post, leave a trackback, or e-mail the permalink directly to Alliance.PGH@gmail.com. Entries due by 11:59pm EST Wednesday, June 7th and GEBIV will post the round-up Thursday. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.

Precision Guided Round-Up: MacBeth

Ok, a quick roundup so I can go back to watching the Eastern Conference Championship (hockey).

What else do we know about the lying slimeball traitor wannabe sleazebag Jesse Macbeth?

The Kevin Show finds that he's always worked for the Govt.

SeanS of Shoot a Liberal has some more alleged information.

Harvey, posting at IMAO, has some misinformation of his own.

Blackfive has started a top 10 list of reasons why Jesse lied about being a Ranger.

Miriam Sawyer gave us this in the comments:

When he was a boy, he stole the last cookie from the cookie jar, and lied about it.

And I (GEBIV of There's One, Only!) thought I had something... but I seem to have been mistaken.

Filthy Round-Up: Evil's Day

It's like the Davinci Code says (and I'm guessin a little here, since I never actually read the book) "When the calander of the West shows triple boxcars, look to an evil to celebrate. And woe to those who don't hide their pets."

So, since this obviously points to Evil Glenn, the question becomes how will Evil Glenn celebrate 6-6-6 day?

KT Cat expands on a comment by Marci over at The Scratching Post.

justin's random thoughts has the intercept of some IMing between Evil Glenn and the Eviler One.

basil's blog has Evil Glenn celebrating over and over and over...

Harvey, posting at IMAO, has a whole slew of possible activities for Evil Glenn.

The Kevin Show has a rather detailed acount of what Evil Glenn intends.

The little orange fox over at Outlaw Republican has a disturbing idea for us.

And I (GEBIV of There's One, Only!) have a numerically evil answer.

New Precision Guided Humor Assignment - Alarmist And Armageddonist Factoids For Greenpeace

Recently Greenpeace wanted to say something nasty on the occasion of President Bush's visit to Pennsylvania promoting his nuclear energy policy.

Unfortunately, they sent out an early draft of the press release instead of the final document, and it contained the following:

"In the twenty years since the Chernobyl tragedy, the world's worst nuclear accident, there have been nearly [FILL IN ALARMIST AND ARMAGEDDONIST FACTOID HERE]"

Now, I'm living in a glass house here, as I've often composed drafts with bracketed notes intended to be replaced by specifics. Especially if I'm composing something that I later intend to fact-check on Google.

However, this won't keep me from throwing stones.

Your Precision Guided Humor Assignment this week is to answer the question:

What alarmist and armageddonist factoids should Greenpeace have used in their press release?

Post the answer at your own blog and leave a link in the comments to this post, leave a trackback, or e-mail the permalink directly to Alliance.PGH@gmail.com. Entries due by 11:59pm EST Wednesday, June 14th and GEBIV will post the round-up Thursday. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.
