New Filthy Lie Assignment: Evil Glenn on Immigration

Since Instapundit's only commentary on the important topics of the day are bland, non-descript interjections like "Hmmm...", "Heh", and "Indeed", it's often hard to know where he stands on any given issue.

So it might take a little work to read between enough lines to figure out where he is on the whole immigration flap. However, I have confidence in your investigative abilities.

Your Filthy Lie Assignment this week is to answer the question:

What is Evil Glenn's position on illegal immigration?

Post your response at your own blog and leave a link in the comments to this post, leave a trackback, or e-mail the permalink directly to Alliance.filthylies@gmail.com. Entries due by 11:59pm EDT Friday, May 5th and GEBIV will post the round-up on Saturday. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.

Blogger Inline Comments with HaloScan

BlogTipsBasilI've received questions regarding how to display HaloScan comments inline on a Blogger site. If you recall, we've covered how to display HaloScan TrackBacks inline on Blogger, but now there's a desire to show comments inline. And we've been asked to help. So, here goes.

Why?

Someone's going to bring this up, I'm certain, but Blogger has the capability of displaying comments inline already. We covered that in an Alliance Blog Tip back in December 2005.

So, if the desire is showing comments inline on Blogger, that post covers it.

If, however, the desire is for HaloScan comments inline, then we're going to show how to do it.

New Precision Guided Humor Assignment: Sentencing Moussaoui

Seems that terrorist scumbag Zacarias Moussaoui got life in prison instead of death, and some people are... disappointed.

If you're one of the disappointed, you can do a little venting with this week's Precision Guided Humor Assignment:

What punishment should terrorist scumbag Zacarias Moussaoui have gotten instead of life in prison?

Post the answer at your own blog and leave a link in the comments to this post, leave a trackback, or e-mail the permalink directly to Alliance.PGH@gmail.com. Entries due by 11:59pm EST Wednesday, May 10th and GEBIV will post the round-up Thursday. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.

Precision Guided Round-Up: Danny's Blog

Yes. I'm late again with the Round-Up. Life happens... lots and lots to me sometimes.

Anyways, this week's assignment was: If Dan Rather had a blog, what would he blog about?

Striving for Average has a few ideas for Dan.

Fmragtops Spews has an excerpt from Dan Rather's practice blog.

I (at There's One, Only!) figured that it would be pretty much the same as Evil Glenn..

George Guy has a picture for us at The Prophet of Neo-Federalism.

And Harvey has some possible names for Dan's Blog over at IMAO.

Filthy Round-Up: Evil Glennigration

Well, since Evil Glenn has an opinion on just about everything, it seems logical that he'd have one on Illegal Immigration. Unfortunately, most of his stated opinion are "Heh", "Indeed" and "Hmm" so it falls upon The Alliance to figure out:

What is Evil Glenn's position on illegal immigration?

basil's blog has an episode of The Shield which explains everything.

SeanS at Shoot a Liberal gives a similar explanation.

Steve the Pirate seems to come to the same conclusion as the other two.

Harvey, no wait... RightWingDuck, posting at IMAO (IMAO really needs to do something about it's own border security...) has a picture of Evil Glenn at an Illegal Immigration Rally. As well as some more facts about the issue.

And I (GEBIV of There's One, Only!) have what I feel is Evil Glenn's official stance.

What will Evil Glenn be doing for Mother's Day?

Post your response at your own blog and leave a link in the comments to this post, leave a trackback, or e-mail the permalink directly to Alliance.filthylies@gmail.com. Entries due by 11:59pm EDT Friday, May 12th and GEBIV will post the round-up in the wee hours of the morning. Late entries must be accompanied by a lame excuse.
