Yo, Frankie!

I posted here yesterday while munu was down and it didn't "take". So this is a Test Post....
AT&T Worldnet Top News - U.S. Kills 'High-Value' Iraqis in Siege
Notice this interesting flow of information:
"Another U.S. soldier was killed on Tuesday, the sixth in five days. And the International Committee of the Red Cross said one of its staff was killed in a shooting south of Baghdad.
They were attacked as a trio of U.S. appointees attended a Security Council meeting in New York, the first Baghdad delegates to go to the United Nations since Saddam fell in April.
"Individuals of very high interest to the coalition forces were hiding out in the building," Lieutenant-Colonel William Bishop of the 101st Airborne Division told Reuters in Mosul."
Ok, so there were terrorists hiding out in the U.N. and a Red Cross staff person was killed ?
I hate inertia. Whine. Whine. Whine.
Kvetch.
Procrastination is the devil's plaything, but inertia is the devil's playdough.
Stress. yep. causes stress.
Inertia causes procrastination and procrastination causes stress. Wonder if stress causes inertia?
I was wondering tonight if there is a Patron Saint for derelict buildings. Not that the theater is abandoned; just that its upkeep has been neglected. So I found a site about Patron Saints and looked it up. Nope. No crumbling infrastructure on the list.
Advertising has a patron saint. So so barbers and bakers. A number of countries have their own Patron Saints. There is a Patron Saint for carpenters, and for builders. But there is no one for a movie theater that is reverting to its composite molcules at an increasingly faster rate every day.
Actors have a Patron Saint. There is a Patron Saint of Television. Heck, even the Internet has its own Patron Saint (St. Isidore of Seville). But nothing close to a movie theater.
Too bad. we really need one.
My one true love* Frank J wants everyone to send hate mail to Glenn Reyonlds for not linking to Frank on his Blogiversary. I'd rather just not link to him. That'll teach him.
*borrowing the asterisk from my dear friend Tiger, let me explain that it is the opinion of my Loyal Readers that Frank and I are destined for true love. And although I admittedly find Frank to be a cutie, with a very sexy voice and unstoppable wit, he is too young for a woman who wore bell-bottoms and tie-dye prior to the 90's.
try to pretend the prior attempts don't exist....
Another of my mottos is: It doesn't really matter what decision you make, because whatever it is it will be the wrong one. Trust me on this. It has been proven out by years of decision-making. So there's really no point in worrying about whether you should have done "a" instead of "b"--it would have worked out just as badly as what you did do.
